Some Gardens is a selection of garden vignettes from various client projects that exist at the threshold between landscape and architecture. In a region of California where the picturesque is coveted and commodified, the designing of these natural projects is not intended to perpetuate the idyllic but to exploit it to the benefit of our practice. The culmination of these selected (idyllic) images form an ongoing project: an iterative, continual exploration into melding both disciplines into a single plane.
