DOT DASH GARDEN
DETROIT, MI
SAW designed the landscape of this incredible (non)house for our friends at Dash Marshall.

Dot Dash Garden explores the interplay of successional planting and seasonal change within an ever-evolving neighborhood. Cutleaf sumacs wander and spread, shaping new habitats as they grow. A newly formed courtyard cradles a developing forest understory, offering both shelter and continuity. Witchhazels, bloodtwig dogwoods, and inkberries stand as quiet reminders that even in Detroit’s coldest winters, horticultural life is already moving toward the promise of spring renewal.
