Not all frames - even those that assert themselves - have spatial intent. Still, even the ambivalent frame provides context, and in this case a provocation for formal organization. A series of partial frames in the 9,000sf  office space within this existing core and shell building, accumulate layers of half voided shapes, allowing each bay to be broadly open to the next, while forming full volumes for circulation and gathering when viewed across any two segments. Corridors are implied rather than prescribed, opening up a choreography of cross grains, encouraging shortcuts, and drawing natural light and view into the deepest portion of the building.
